In 2015, John Woloski suffered a life-threatening stroke that could have ended his life, but thanks to a remarkable team of nurses in a Hershey medical centre, Woloski made a better-than-expected recovery from an illness that is the fifth leading cause of death in America.
Perhaps with that in mind, and with May being National Stroke Awareness Month, the former music teacher performed a cheery dance routine to Megan Trainer’s hit single, All About That Base.
Learning the routine before he was released into the care of local rehabilitation nurses, John’s amazing dance proved a fitting sendoff for a team who never stopped believing in him when it seemed all hope was lost.
Alarmingly, strokes kill more than 133,000 Americans each year, making them the leading cause of adult disability and it’s statistics like those that just goes to show how fragile human life is.
